- Have a better understanding of the importance of this step in the discovery process
- Demonstrate an ability to ask deep, layered questions to learn about the applicant
- Know what types of questions you need to ask/ information you need to gather to effectively lead the grant preparation process
- Have written a short organizational description that can be used in a grant application
