Session 2B – Telling the Story

Telling a story is one of the most important ‘jobs’ of the grant writer.

Session objectives – by the end of the session, you will:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of personal stories in grant writing process
• Understand when using personal stories is and may not be appropriate/ effective
• Be able to describe how/where to incorporate personal stories into a grant narrative or other components of a grant application (i.e. letter of support)
