Setting Course Expectations

What are your expectations for this course? Here are some ideas we have to get you started:

• Become a better grant writer, planner, and manager
• Share what you know
• Help my peers
• Have fun
• Challenge myself  and others
• Be willing to “fail”
• In-class work and homework
• Leverage the talent in the group
• Work with all students ‘where you are at’
• Adjust pedagogy and content per cohort needs
• Maintain a “gracious space”
• Step-up/ step-back as appropriate (i.e., if you are someone who often speaks up a lot, bear in mind when you might want to step back; if you are someone who does not speak up often, keep in mind that you might want to get into the discussion a bit more)
