Obtaining key information is a critical aspect of writing a complete and compelling grant proposal. In this lesson, ‘discover’ the best methods and practices to get the information you need quickly and efficiently. This session is approximately 80 minutes in length.
Session Objectives – by the end of the session, the participants will:
- Improve their ability to conduct effective interviews as part of the discovery process
- Have a better understanding of the importance of this step in the discovery process
- Demonstrate an ability to ask deep, layered questions to learn about the applicant
- Know what types of questions they need to ask or the information they need to gather for them to effectively lead the grant preparation process
- Have written a short organizational description that can be used in a grant application
