Lesson Details and Materials
For this lesson, we will review and discuss the course syllabus, materials, and expectations of both the students and the trainers. Towards the end of the lesson, we will launch into the first subject matter: “The Elevator Pitch.” This lesson is approximately 90 minutes in length.
Lesson Objectives – by the end of the session, the participants will:
- Have a clear understanding of course expectations and syllabus
- Have expressed their expectations for the course and their own learning
- Have started to develop positive relationships with other participants
- Have a reasonable understanding of whether or not this course will benefit them
- Have expressed major concerns to trainers/ peers
- Been introduced to the concept of the elevator pitch
