Applying for federal grants requires registering for a SAM account and a Grants.gov account. In addition, you will also need a Unique Entity ID (UEI) number. This process is not difficult, but can be confusing which is why we are covering these processes in this lesson. This lesson will take you 55 minutes.
Lesson Objectives – by the end of the session, the participants will:
- Understand which accounts are necessary to apply for federal grants and the process – and potential challenges – for setting up and utilizing each of them
- Understand the different types of accounts needed on Grants.gov to enable a group to successfully submit a federal grant application
