If only creating a winning grant application was just about the writing. Well, mostly, it is about the writing, but the process also involves planning, facilitation, and working effectively with your team. This is what we will be focused on in this lesson! This lesson is approximately 90 minutes in length.

Lesson Objectives – by the end of the session, the participants will:

• Understand the complexities of managing the process of creating and submitting a federal grant proposal
• Be able to identify the key steps of the process where a team (and individual members) can add value
• Be able to list and describe specific strategies that can be employed to effectively engage team members in the process, leveraging their strengths
